96pt Chardonnay Only $35.99
Gavin Chanin does it again!
Gavin is one of the hottest winemakers in California today. Since the release of his first vintage, the Chanin wines have been capturing the attention of the press left and right. The former UCLA art student turned apprentice to Jim Clendenen of the world famous Au Bon Climat winery has clearly broken-out on his own in a big way. Garnering tremendous praise from Antonio Galloni, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, the Burghound and Wine & Spirits in a very short time. Not to mention being named one of the 30 under 30 by Forbes magazine.
The latest release of the 2010 Bien Nacido Chardonnay is phenomenal. A classic example of the Bien Nacido vineyard the 2010 Chanin Chardonnay is delivering on all cylinders.

At turns bombastic and lifted, powerful and nuanced, it's a symphonic performance, with a sinewy texture that has plenty of room to evolve...96." Wine & Spirits 02/13.
We are very lucky to be able to carry these wines as production is very small and limited. However, three years ago Gavin and I met while tasting at the legendary home of Pinot Noir, Domaine de la Romanee Conti, and since then we have begun working with his wines buying as much as we can. That being said, quantities available are still limited and you will have to act fast if you want to secure one of the biggest in demand Chardonnay on the market today.
