Rhone Whites - Buried Treasure of Southern France
Whoever said that Rhone wines can't be enjoyed in hot weather? The masters of such notable varietals as Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne (among many others) have been crafting beautiful white wines for generations, and it's nothing short of criminal that they aren't more popular. Between bang-for-your-buck Cotes-du-Rhone Blanc, robust and spicy Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc, and delicately nuanced Condrieu, the whites from this region provide a sensory experience that need to be tasted to be believed. The very best Rhone whites are on par with the best that White Burgundy or German Riesling have to offer, and they pair beautifully with a wide range of rich savory dishes.
Here is a list of some of our favorites, across all pricepoints. The world is gradually starting to catch on to these “buried treasures” of the Rhone Valley, so hop on and enjoy the ride!
