94 Points, Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: “The 2023 Ventoleiro Tinto wants to be a light and approachable red from the Avia Valley, from different vineyards, made with 60% Brancellao and 40% Caíño Longo. The grapes fermented separately with full clusters and indigenous yeasts, and the wine matured in a 1,000-liter oak foudre for seven months. It's super peppery, very spicy, with some notes of dried flowers, resin, pine needles, aromatic herbs and beeswax with a smoky side and hints of graphite. It's elegant and has contained ripeness, with 11% alcohol, and a medium-bodied palate with fine-grained tannins. 3,700 bottles and 60 magnums produced. It was bottled in November 2024.” 07/25
